Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Bill was a carpenter and carpenter foreman with PCL for 35 years. He was sought after by Superintendents because of his work ethic and ability to produce. As a young field engineer in the early 90's Bill would take the time to teach our formwork systems and approach to construction to less experienced employees. He was affectionately known as "the road runner" because he was always moving as our progress on site was never quite fast enough for Bill. There was always room for improvement. Bill never hesitated to go where the work was and as a result worked all over Manitoba and Northern Ontario. Bill contributed a great deal to landscape of the city he lived in through his efforts and he will be missed by his family and all those that had the opportunity to work along side him. - Posted by: Sean Barnes (Co-worker - Vice President & District Manager, PCL Constructors Canada Inc.) on: Apr 20, 2014

  • My condolences Fran and to your family on the loss of Bill, he truly was a great person. I could think of all the time that I had spent with you and your family. May the angels walk with you and your family on this difficult journey. - Posted by: Annette Niven (nee Veito) (friend) on: Apr 19, 2014
