Date of Passing: Apr 17, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEROY QUINTIN ASHLEY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather, Leroy at Oakview Place after a lengthy illness, on April 17, 2014. Leroy is survived by his daughters Esther (Doug) Whynot, Agnes (Al) Ashley-Kircher, granddaughter Mariel, and other family members including Justin Malec, Tanis, Jason, and Andre. He was predeceased by his wife Maria, and sisters Elaine, Marlene and Rosemarie. Leroy was a smart, funny, kind man who devoted his life to his family. He loved reading, and could fix anything. He built his own boat and enjoyed using it at Grand Beach in his early years. Thank you to the staff on the second floor at Oakview Place for their exceptional caring and compassion during the last few years of Leroy's life. A private family service has taken place with interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Until We Meet Again We think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, Dad and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts, and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives until we meet again. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
