She was the oldest of ten children, Marie-Louise (Etienne Thomas), Edouard, Emilien, Jean (Marie Reine Pellerin), Therese (Jack Brown), Joseph, Alma (Joseph Perreault), Denise (Andy Daeninck), Achille, Louis (Yvonne Leblanc). As the oldest daughter she helped raise the family and was fondly nicknamed "Sergeant-Major" by her siblings. She lived and worked in Ste. Anne and St. Boniface, Manitoba. Marie-Louise was a grand lady of many talents: seamstress, interior decorator, painter, chef extraordinaire, hostess, motorhome riveter, caregiver, and a wonderful mother. She loved traveling, from early tenting to retirement motorhoming, with a sense of adventure that led her to riding horses, bicycles, sailboats, water skis, hot air balloons, and a camel. She loved life and all those around her and will be missed by all who knew her. Marie Louise is survived by her daughter Vicky (Corey Stephens) and son Denis (Mary Pistawka), grandchildren Susan and David, great-grandchildren Reece and Brady, brother Louis (Yvonne), and sister Denise, as well as many nieces and nephews. With thanks to her caregivers at the Rose Manor, Mount Saint Mary, and the Royal Jubilee Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Pengilly. A private memorial service was held for the immediate family.
