YOLANDE SOLANGE MARIE HAUSER (nee PRUD'HOMME) March 25, 1926 - May 19, 2014 After a lengthy journey with Alzheimer's, Yolande passed in her 88th year with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Robert, her sisters Marguerite, Louise, Celine and grandson Kelvin. She is survived by her children Laurence (Donna), Paulette (Robert), Mark (Susan), and grandchildren Kyle (Kelly), Christie (Shawn), Trevor (Kelly), Tyler (Carolyn) and Nathan (Jenna), and great-grandson, Logan. Yolande was born and raised in St. Boniface, Manitoba, where she met and married Bob at the tender age of 20. They continued their life together in the same area raising their three children. Yolande's life revolved around raising her family, where there was not a challenge that she would not meet head on with the end result of getting what she considered was good for the family. Faith and friends were a major component of her life. She was well loved, enjoyed by all and will be greatly missed. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Foyer Valade for their gentle care and compassion. Prayers will be held at Christ the King Parish, 657 St. Mary's Rd., on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Donation to Foyer Valade will be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
