HELEN ZUK Unexpectedly, but quietly, our mother passed away at the age of 86 on May 27, 2014 at the Health Sciences Rehab Hospital. She was born on December 8, 1927 in Toronto, Ontario. Helen is predeceased by her husband Nickolas Zuk of Winnipeg, mother Beatrice Killey, father James Killey, and sister Shirley. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters Meryl and Mary, and brothers Jim and Bob. Also left to cherish her memory are her two sons and daughter: son Ron Zuk (wife Sharon with their son), Ken Zuk (wife Charlene with their son and daughter), Lynn Barr with her two sons and two daughters. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba. Viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to service. We wish to thank the Health Sciences Centre for all of her care in her final days. We also would like to thank the many people involved in giving her home care support, which made it possible for her to remain in her own home for the last 17 years until the time of her passing.
