MARTIN NICHOLAS MICKOSKI It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Marty Mickoski of Winnipeg Manitoba on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the age of 52. Marty was born February 9, 1962 in San Francisco, California but called Winnipeg home. Marty was very proud of his roots and often called himself a north ender. Marty attended Luxton and St. Johns Schools and played hockey every chance he got. As he grew older Marty joined his father Nick in the taxi business and was an owner at Duffy's Taxi. He is survived by his brother Robert, nephew Scott, Aunt Sophie Stockmall, and by his aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by parents Nick and Leona Mickoski. Services will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Monday, June 9 , 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Marty may be made to the charity of your choice. Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044
