There are so many things that are going to happen in our lives; weddings, graduations, kids, trips, etc. that you will be able to see from Heaven. And that's comforting, but it doesn't change the fact that I miss you. Love you Mom, hope you don't scold me too much when I join you up there. - Posted by: Justin Antoski-Beaudoin (Son) on: Aug 24, 2014

To Ma tante Lucille, Curtis, Charlene, Carrie, Scott & Justin, I remember when Carole was a young child, she had a very sweet, kind and gentle way about her. I knew back then how she loved life itself, and that she was always happy. I can recall that she never lost that touch when she joined you on a trip to the cottage at St Laurent many years later. Over the years, she had become a lovely young woman who always gave of herself. She had a strong desire to make this world a better place with her passion for life and her positive outlook. She was indeed a beautiful soul who earned her Heaven. I'm sad that she was taken at such a young age and I'm sorry that she has left behind such a huge void. It is said that each person is given the gift of time on this earth...to live...to learn...to love...and to leave a legacy, and Carole did just that. She made a true difference to others less fortunate than her. May your precious memories of her live on until you see her again. You should know that although Carole may be gone from here, Our Good Lord left her spirit to ease our pain and suffering. Carole's memory will live in our hearts forever. She has gone to serve Our Heavenly Father elsewhere. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Our family will forever remember beautiful Carole.... she always so friendly & cheerful. We were happy to be included among her invitations to fabulous parties - her ideas for Halloween were the best, and it was wonderful of her to encourage parents to bring their children to join in the fun; with many activities designed especially for the little ones. We enjoyed hearing about her travels and getting together for spontaneous Starbucks Coffee visits, board game nights and backyard dinners together over the years. - Posted by: Al, Kim & Allan Palmer (friends) on: Jun 18, 2014

Scott and Carole were one of our first friends when we moved to Winnipeg in 1993. We met in university. We have treasured their friendship over the last 21 years. lives paralleled each other closely, from working at B & L homes to having sons, 3 months apart. We will miss the frequent get togethers at each other's homes, the humorous conversations, comparing notes on raising only children, our philosophical differences. An observation that both Lori and I noted throughout the last year is that Carole demonstrated a conviction of the future, she never wallowed in pity and bitterness. She continued to have such a positive outlook, centred on others rather than her current predicament. To My good friend Scott, Justin and Carole's family we are very sorry for your loss. - Posted by: John Mergulhao (Friend) on: Jun 18, 2014

Dear Scott, Justin, Lucille, and family, Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful wife, mother, daughter, and sister. It's so hard to believe she's gone. Carole was an extraordinary woman and I will cherish the many memories I have of all the fun and happy times we had together. I was especially honoured to have been asked to stand up for her at her wedding almost 22 years ago. She loved being a wife and mother and I remember her telling me that her favourite time of day was after work when, Scott, you and she would pick up Justin from school and the three of you would drive home together. She said you would all talk about your day and just enjoy being together. She was an inspiration in how she balanced her home and work lives. I, too, will remember her beautiful smile and witty sense of humour. She never failed to make me laugh and was so good at staying positive and always seeing the humorous side of things. I'll miss hearing her stories and her Carole-isms ("and whatnot..."). Her handling of her illness, will such grace and dignity, was a lesson for us all. The world is, indeed, a much darker place without her. Carole, I will never forget you. As much as I would rather have you here, I have to take solace in the fact that you're no longer in pain. Be at peace, my friend. - Posted by: Debbie Gajdosik (Friend) on: Jun 17, 2014

Sat Jun 07 standing by her bed & caressing her arm the only prayer I could remember was "Our Father" and "Hail Mary", then I said Carole God has called you home and the angels are picking you up. I said "I love you" and I saw her lips moving and I know she said "I love you too mom." Then she was gone. Carole we love you so much. Family dinners will never be the same. Rest in Peace, I'll see you again in heaven. We watched you struggle and God knew this was enough. love mom - Posted by: Lucille Beaudoin (mother) on: Jun 17, 2014

Scott, I am so sorry to hear of Carole's passing; I remember how much you loved her and how proud you were of her and her accomplishments. Carole loved life to the fullest and wanted everyone she touched to do the same. In her spirit: You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she has left Your heart can be empty because you can't see her or you can be full of the love you shared You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday You can remember Carole and only that she is gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what Carole would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. My sweet Carole, how the world and my life will be different without you. I cannot tell how many million stories we shared in the first 18 years of our lives.... But as I reminisce I can only laugh out loud and smile with a tear in my eyes. I love you so much. I would have loved one more hug and kiss.... But I will hug you again in heaven. I want to thank Aunt Lucille, Scott, Justin, Curt, Char, Carrie (and Carloe' s presence) that Saturday night for bonding together to send Carole off. I love my family very much. Carole was and remains a true inspiration and friend to all of her friends and colleagues and family. Of this I am certain. I very much enjoyed our professional discussions as they related to our respective jobs at the NML. What inspired me so was her dedicated conviction and passion about her work, toward her colleagues, her students and, most of all, her family. Then there were her daily stories about what was going on in her life that day and the humour and wit with which the story was delivered. There was always a gathering of people outside of her office listening to what she had to share; then we would laugh hysterically at her delivery. She will be missed, but she can still serve as an inspiration to all of us! - Posted by: Theodore Kuschak (Colleague at the NML) on: Jun 13, 2014

We have very fond memories of Carole and our fun times with Carole, Scott and Justin. It was back in 2001 that we met at Justin, Brendan and Blake's daycare. Soon after, they moved from Hillcrest in St. Boniface to Dufresne just outside the city. Carole and Scott loved to entertain and planned amazingly fun parties and always included the kids. They would plan mystery games, Halloween parties, family birthdays, pool parties....any excuse for a party. We remember how cute Carole looked in her "I Dream of Jeannie" costume. Carole cooked all kinds of great food in the kitchen while Scott barbecued and they always co ordinated everything so well so that everything was out on the table at the same time and everyone was eating on the deck, the stairs, around the pool or in the kitchen. Then there was soccer, hockey, football, swimming, the trampoline and and an ATV to round out the day. In Carole's time on this planet, she brightened the lives of all those around her. Her combination of humour, knowledge and caring made you want to be around her. She will be very dearly missed. - Posted by: Lynn and Sean Murphy (friends since 2001) on: Jun 11, 2014
