LORNA BRUCE Lorna Bruce passed away peacefully at West Park Manor in Charleswood on June 12, 2014. She will be missed by her daughter Coreen, son Kelvin, son Derrick his wife Lisa, Lorna's grandchildren Aigne ans Versailles, sister Frieda, sister Agnus her husband Norm, brother Ed his wife Anita, as well as other family and friends. Lorna was born in 1937 in Glenella, MB and raised her family in Charleswood where they owned the Charleswood Cleaners. She played baseball into her 50s and stayed active in her later years doing Tai Chi. She worked for many years with the Salvation Army before retiring. Lorna's family would like to thank West Park Manor for the care she received. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West Park Manor recreation department. A memorial service will be held at Charleswood United Church 4829 Roblin Blvd. on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
