LAURIE NOWELL (nee VASAS) Formerly of Winnipeg and Gillam, Manitoba. Passed away suddenly in Hamilton, New Zealand, 31st May, 2014. Loved mother of Christopher Nowell, Hamilton, NZ; ex-wife of Ian (Sandy) Nowell of Hawera, NZ; friend to Ellen. According to her wishes, Laurie was cremated at the Newstead Crematorium, Hamilton, New Zealand. May she rest in peace.

  • I met Laurie shortly before she and her husband were leaving for NZ She sent me pictures of her wedding and a picture of Christopher having a bath. She was so happy to be a Mother.
