I was saddened to see Betty Anne's obituary in today's paper. I had numerous opportunities to play competitively with her. Betty Anne always displayed grace, class and finesse. She is one fellow competitor who stood above the others. I always looked up to her as she was the reason why you strived to be the best to make the Manitoba golf team--her personality shone through. To her family, just know Betty Anne made a mark in life and so many others are glad, like myself, got a chance to know her. Wishing all of you a lifetime a cherished memories--I know I have a few. My condolences to all of you. - Posted by: Joan Leslie-Thomson (former golf competitor/friend) on: Jul 03, 2014
