My sincere condolences to Ed's family at their loss. I met Ed 20 years ago when we were both sharing a coffee at the old counter at Portage and Sprague Tim Hortons. We discovered a common interest in model boats and from then on Ed was a good and great friend and a stalwart member of the Winnipeg Model Boat Club. The only time he missed any event was because of work. We could always count on Ed to wear a funny or outrageous fishing t-shirt or ball cap. Ed was always quick to share a laugh even at his own expense which is a hallmark of a good guy. I really believe he enjoyed the model boat club as he did all of his other passions. Ed leaves a void in our group that no one can fill. - Posted by: Bob Russell (Friend) on: Jul 16, 2014
