Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE JOSEPH DUMONTET We are sad to announce the passing of George Joseph Dumontet at Vista Park Lodge on July 8, 2014, with his loving family at his side. George was predeceased by his first wife Rita (Remillard) in 1967, parents Delia (Gauthier) and Joseph Dumontet, stepmother Doris Dumontet (Francis), his sister Mae, and his half-brother Philip. He is survived by his wife Joan, his half-brother Victor (Norma), sons Raymond (Patricia), Paul (Susan), daughter Leona Compton (Greg), his grandchildren Michelle, Renee, Dawn, Marc, Melanie, Steven, Adam, Brian, and step-granddaughter Victoria. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Richard Clear (Margaret), Randall Clear (Mary-Jane) and Kathleen Clear, his step-granddaughters Erin, Allison, Lauren, Megan and Aileen, as well as 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 14 at Christ the King Parish, 847 St. Mary's Road. A private family interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens following the service and a reception will be held at Christ the King Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation on George's behalf may do so to "Development and Peace", 622 Tache Avenue, Saint-Boniface, MB R2H 2B4, or to a charity of their choice. I well remember my cousin George and the wonderful times we shared together as family. His generous nature and joyous laugh and his his great sense of humour will be treasured forever. His sense of family was very endearing. I will miss him. My condolences to Ray, Pat and family, Paul and family and Leona and family.
