Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELFRIEDE WADIEN Peacefully, on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Bethania Personal Care Home, Elfriede Wadien passed away at the age of 90 years. Elfriede was predeceased by her son Dieter in 1960, daughter Rita in 1993 and her beloved husband Ewald in 2009. She will be lovingly remembered by sons Manfred, Norbert (Donna), daughter Karin (Len), grandchildren: Susan, Wesley, Bonnie - May, Kristina, Christopher, Nickalis, Kristin, Tyler, three great-grandchildren and sister Ursula as well as many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd with viewing a half hour prior to the service. There will be a reception to follow. A special thank you is extended to the staff of Bethania Personal Care Home for your loving care and support. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made in memory of Elfriede to the Rita Wadien Memorial Scholarship, 422 University Centre, Winnipeg, MB R3T 2N2.
