ANITA DURAND August 30, 1933 - July 30, 2014 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Anita Antoinette Durand, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Wednesday at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 80 years. Anita is survived by her daughters Colette, Cecile (husband Brian Bouskill); Diane (husband Larry Wiens); and her sons Mitch (wife Janet) and Robert; her grandchildren James (wife Dana), Nicole, Jeffrey (wife Shawna); her great-grandchildren Ellee, Jack and Kylee. She is also survived by her sisters Carmelle, Jeanne (Roger), Gabrielle, Rose-Marie, Gisele and Moreah (Gerri); and her brother Noel. She was predeceased by her parents Fabiola and Pheliza; her husband Fern; her sisters Germaine and Florence; her brothers John, Andre, Felix, Claude, Emmanuel, Edward and Ovila. Anita spent the last two years at the Lindenwood Manor and enjoyed the staff and the friends she made there. The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital for their caring and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Lung Association of Manitoba. A private service will be held for immediate family.
