Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM SHUSHKEWICH May 27, 1942 - August 1, 2014 It is with much sadness that the family of William Shushkewich announces his passing after a brief and brave battle with cancer on Friday, August 1, 2014. Dad will be greatly missed by is his three children Debbie (Darrell) Ducharme, Russ (Laura) Shushkewich and Dan (Tracy) Shushkewich. His five grandchildren Brian Ducharme, Amanda (Bryan) Guerreiro, Tyson Shushkewich, Brandon and Everett Shushkwich. And one great-grandchild Dominic Guerreiro will miss their gramps very much. He also leaves one brother Joe Shushkewich, brother-in- law Willy Prouse, sisters-in-law Marcia Nahuliak, and Donna (Micheal) Josefchuk. He was predeceased by his wife Darcy in 2010 and also two sisters and two brothers. Dad liked to go fish with the boys, he also enjoyed traveling and in the later years he and mom enjoyed going to Mexico. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchild. Viewing is Wednesday, August 6 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery A special thank you to Dr. Crawford and the nursing staff on the 5th floor at Seven Oaks Hospital.

William will be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren and his one great-grandchild. William was predeceased by his wife Darcy in 2010. Viewing will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg on Wednesday, August 6 at 7:00 p.m. A private family burial will follow the next day.
