Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN WARREN It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Helen Warren during the early hours of August 20, 2014 Helen was born in Meyronne, Saskatchewan on June 15, 1930. She moved to Winnipeg in the 1940's with her sister Marie, where she met her future husband Bruce. Bruce and Helen were married for 66 years raising 5 children. All the children were born in Winnipeg, the family then lived in Regina, Prince Albert, Melville, and Thunder Bay. Helen and Bruce then returned on their own to Winnipeg in 1979. She was predeceased by her daughter Elaine Bernadette Warren, her father Arthur, mother Gertrude, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Her only living sibling is her sister Margaret. She has a large extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews. Helen is survived by her husband, Bruce, sons; Bruce (Robin), Jim (Val), and daughters; Kim (Lewis), Lori (Kelly) and Theresa (Wes). Bruce and Helen have 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. In keeping with Helen's wishes cremation has taken place, and a Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Road in Windsor Park, with Father Fred Olds officiating. The family would like to send a special thank-you to Colleen Nyczai for all her support. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Helen can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. My mother was a special lady, so blessed to have her, she will be missed. Loved her with all my heart, she was there at the birth of all my 4 daughters, which meant so much to me.
