She was predeceased by her husband Dominador Lacap Sr., her daughter Herminia Camaya (Ruben), daughter-in-law Estelita Lacap and her granddaughter Mary Lacap. We find peace knowing that they will be reunited in Heaven. Morena leaves to cherish her memory her children Rolando Lacap (Fely), Rosie (Hermie) Viray, Gil Lacap, Ceferino (Minda) Lacap, Edgar (Myrna) Lacap, Jun (Emma) Lacap and Leezbeth (Ardie) Gervacio; her 23 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives in Winnipeg, the Philippines and the United States. She was born in Masantol, Pampanga (Philippines) and migrated to Canada in 1979. Morena was devoted to prayer and had a special relationship with God. Her faith in Him has prepared her for her journey home. We will deeply miss her but she has left us with so many happy memories that we will cherish forever. She will always be remembered for her kindness and patience. She had great love and pride for her family. We love you Inda/Lola and will never forget you. Apo, please say hi to lolo for me. Your death brought sadness to all of us. But it is unfair to you to hold you here for so long. It is a cause of celebration also as you will be reunited now with the man whom is your eternity. Always smile to us from heaven!
