I've known Jeannie since we both worked together as copy writers at the Bay. She had been there for some years before I arrived, so introduced me around the store and we immediately became good friends. We kept in touch through both our moves (many in my case). My memories of Jeannie range from her fondness for dining at the Town and Country and Hys(Are they still there?), going to races at Polo Park -- where she usually had tips from various members of the horse racing fraternity to her deft footwork on the dance floor. When it came to restaurants, Jeannie always wanted the seat against the wall so she could survey the room and who was coming in (She should have been a society reporter). Farewell Jeannie, you'll be missed but I know you are now united with your beloved Robbie. - Posted by: Corinne Nemy (Old Friend) on: Sep 10, 2014
