JOYCE HELENA BREAULT (nee WEARDEN) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Helena Breault (nee Wearden) on September 6, 2014 with her family by her side. Joyce is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert, sons Bruce (Laurel) and Gerry; grandchildren Christine (Jordan), Matthew (Chelsea), Stephanie and Michael, and great-granddaughter Abby. Joyce was born on June 28, 1929 and was raised in Fort Rouge. Joyce and Bob married in January of 1950 and raised their sons in Windsor Park and Southdale. Joyce enjoyed many great years at their cottage at Star Lake with family and friends, and travelled with Bob to many places like Hawaii, Mexico and Arizona to get away from the cold Manitoba winters. The family would like to express our sincere thank you to Paul and the rest of the staff on 3E at Riverview Health Centre for their care and assistance. In accordance with Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A private family interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joyce's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or the Salvation Army. Sorry very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs Breault. Grew up across the street and she was a great friend to our family. Spent many and afternoon in the pool on Brookhaven Bay while she and mom sat and chatted. I am so sorry to hear this. I lived next door to Mrs. Breault growing up - she and my mom (Lillian) were quite close and got together often for coffee or cards.
