LUCIE BOHEMIER (nee LEMIRE) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lucie Bohemier, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Lucie passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the age of 84. Left to cherish her memory are her children Maurice (Lorraine), Mona Henderson (Lorne), Patrick (Gaylene), Valerie Calvin (Brian), nine grandchildren: Robert, Alex, Daniel (Lacey), Kelly, Alyson, Robin, Christine, Rachel and Jake; her sisters Therese Olivier, Yvette Fenez, her brothers Roger Lemire (Yvette), Guy Lemire (Jeannine) and many nephews and nieces. Lucie was predeceased by her husband, Marcel Bohemier (1994) and her parents Joseph and Anais Lemire. Lucie was born in Carey, Manitoba which is close to St. Pierre, Manitoba in 1930. She married Dad in 1952 and they lived in Winnipeg for most of their lives. Mom was a very good mother and maintained a tidy and happy home. Our mother was a very humble person. She loved all her family but her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was very close to her brothers and sisters and they visited often and went on many trips together. Lucie liked meeting with her friends at the mall every week. She moved into Meadowood Manor a few years ago where she made more friends. Her hobbies were bingo, playing cards and she was once quite a bowler. She still had her car and enjoyed the independence of driving her friends to the mall and to church on Sundays. We will miss you Mom! Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014 at St. Eugene Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
