Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESTELLE FLEURY (nee DESJARDINS) Peacefully at Actionmarguerite St. Vital in Winnipeg, MB on Saturday, September 27, 2014, Mrs. Estelle Fleury formerly of Baie Saint Paul, MB passed away at the age of 96 years. She leaves to mourn her passing four children: Raymond (Alice) Fleury of Winnipeg, Edouard (Céline) Fleury of St. Francois Xavier, Marguerite (John) Peters of St. Francois Xavier and Bernice Demers of Winnipeg; 15 grandchildren: Cindy (Andrew), Paul (Janis), Lorraine (Norbert), Philip (Gina), René (Karen), Denis (Erin), Joceline (Greg), Beverly (Scott), Lionel (Chantale), Bridgette (Norm), Carmelle (Gabriel), Marcella, Christopher (Shirley), Nicholus and François and 23 great-grandchildren: Patrick (Melyssa), Janelle (Logan), Célèste, Kirsten, Liam, Mitchell, Braden, Louis, Mason, Jerzy, Julien, Ava, Kendra, Genevieve, Alexandre, Kathryn, Brett, Katie, Louis, Erika, Janique, Micheal and Joël. She also leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters: Romeo, Juliette and Jeannette as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Estelle was predeceased by her husband Alfred, great-granddaughter Maira Fleury and brothers and sisters: Antonio, Clarisse, Leonie, Vincent, Henri-Luc, Donat, Benoit, Guy and Gilles. The family would like to greatly thank the staff at Actionmarguerite and Dr. François for the care and compassion Mom received. Prayers will be held at the Saint John XXIII Parish, 3390 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Gerald Langevin presiding. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Gerald Langevin officiating and Father John Legitimas and Father Isaïe Blanchette concelebrating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. I did not know Estelle Fleury directly, but my heart goes out to her family and friends. Knowing a small part of her family, in particular her son, Ray and daughter-in-law, Alice, I can see she must have been a wonderful example, witness and teacher to those she loved.
