MARJORIE LONDON March 9, 1932 - October 1, 2014 Marge passed away peacefully with her long-time friend Barbara, and her beloved companion Patrick (her stuffed dog), at her side. Marge was born and raised in Transcona and was one of the founding members of the L'Arche Winnipeg community. She was 41 when she came to L'Arche in December 1973. Marge's happiest years in L'Arche were the ones spent in her own apartment on Roanoke Street. She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving family members and by her many friends at L'Arche. The Memorial Service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Friday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Road. Special thanks to the staff at Park Manor for their care and compassion shown to Marge during her last years there.
