TIMOTHY (TIM) CHIU CHEN October 15, 1955 October 2, 2014 With his family close by his side, Tim passed peacefully on the morning of Thursday, October 2 in the comfort of his Winnipeg home and went to be with the Lord at the age of 58. Tim is survived by his loving wife Ly, his four children Lydia (Shane), Joel, Tychicus (Rachel), and Eunice, as well as one soon-expected grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers Yi Xian, Lawrence and Jean-Luc, and his two sisters Sze Mei and Di Phuon, as well as numerous extended family and church family. Tim was predeceased by his brother Meng. A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home on 455 Lagimodiere Blvd in Winnipeg. Viewing will take place one hour prior and interment will follow immediately after the service at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends and family wishing to may make a donation to the Timothy Chiu Chen Seminary Scholarship Fund through the Winnipeg Chinese Alliance Church, in lieu of flowers. Tim would have liked to thank his family; his church family; his many coworkers; his physicians; the WRHA Palliative Care Program; his God and Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave him the strength to face each day, and to whom he sang praises even to his very last breath.   • This is a man of faith, who foght to his end with honor. This is a humble man, a real servant of God, who does the jobs not been seen. His reward is waiting on him when he gets into his house in heaven. He may not have his seminary training degree, but the way he lived out his life to reflect Christ, has showed who he really is, much more than a degree.
