VENERACION MENOR Peacefully with family by her side, Veneracion passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on October 7, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Veneracion was predeceased by her husband Reynaldo and parents Rufina and Luis. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by sons Reynaldo Jr. (Lourdes), Arthur (Carol), Arnold (Tata); daughters Victoria (Jay-R), Teresa (Edward), Luisa (Aldrin), Julieta and Cristina (Rodel); all grandchildren in California, Winnipeg and the Philippines. Veneracion was born in Quezon Province, Philippines and she married Reynaldo in 1956. She had been a full time homemaker ever since taking care of her large brood. She was so patient, hardworking, loving and a supportive wife, mother, sister and friend. Lamay (Viewing) will be held at 7:00 p.m. to Midnight on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014 at St. Edward Church, 836 Arlington Street. Burial will take place at a later date in the Philippines.
