MARCIANA HUELBA ILAO It is great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marciana Huelba Ilao at 7:15 p.m., On October 10, 2014, at the age of 80 years old, with family by her side. She was predeceased by her daughters Pablita, Catalina, and son Loreto, her father Nicomedes Huelba, mother Maria Manalo and five brothers (Isabelo, Paulo, Sofreng, Goring and Emil Huelba). Marciana will be greatly missed by her husband Gregorio, son Bonifacio Ilao (Celing/Kenneth) in the Philippines, daughter Elly Ilao (Elena, and Gener (Dally), son Philip (Jeanette/Jillian/Darren James), daughter Nilda Suello (Roland/Christian), daughter Nelisa Ilao of Calgary (Roa/Cadence) son Rufo Ilao (Rosa /Jeremy/Jessica), son-in-law Gerry Gaudry (Amelia), as well as her great-grandkids Kevin, Gabby and Aubrey, and the entire extended family in the Philippines. Marciana was born on June 17, 1934 in Candalaria, Quezon, Philippines. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1992. Her interest included family, sewing and reading biography. She devoted much of her time as a caregiver to family, baby sitting her grandchildren, including her mother until she passed away early 1992 before she migrated to Canada. Viewing/Lamay will be held from 7:00 p.m. to midnight on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25 2014 at St. Edward Church, 836 Arlington Street. With Father Rainerio Sarce presiding.
