Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE GORDA (nee WITWICKI) On Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital Nellie our beloved mother passed away at the age of 88 years. Besides her son Bob and his wife Angie, she is survived by her cherished granddaughter Jodi; sisters Mattie (Regina), Mary (Winnipeg), and Margaret (Kenora) as well as extended family. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Vista Park Lodge staff for all their caring and understanding. Also, a special thanks to Sophia her bedside nurse at Victoria Hospital. A Celebration of Nel's Life will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel (2nd floor), 1442 Main Street. A private family interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to Victoria Hospital Foundation of Winnipeg or a charity of one's choice. CROPO 204-586-8044

Dearest Bob, Angie, & Jodi, There are some things that never leave us & one of them is a mother/grandmother's love. Your mom/grandma will be forever with you in spirit. My thoughts & prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Auntie Nellie, my God Mother I thank you for the time we had together, for your love, & for your kindness when I was a child. You had a beautiful smile that lit up any room that you walked into & eyes that twinkled.
