KOU WANG MARCH 14, 1953 OCTOBER 18, 2014 Peacefully on the morning of Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Health Sciences Centre, Kou Wang passed away at the age of 61 and went to be with the Lord after a short battle with cancer of the lung and brain. Kou is survived by his loving wife Chanh, his three children Simon (Jennifer), Linda and Raymond (Hoa), as well as his two grandchildren Elsie and Isaac. He is also survived by his mother Sy, brothers Zicheng, Wenchu, Kuang, Chia, Sang and Say, and his sisters Lizhen, Ly and Amy, as well as numerous extended family. Kou was predeceased by his father Wanzhong and sister Kham. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home on 455 Lagimodiere Blvd, Winnipeg, MB. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Kou would have liked to thank his family; his many coworkers at Princess Auto Ltd's Manufacturing division (Shur-Lift industries) where he worked 33 years; his physicians; the staff of RR6 and GH4 Health Sciences Centre; his God and Saviour Jesus Christ whom he came to know recently in his last days, who gave him the strength, peace and comfort as he took his very last breath.
