Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANE MARIE GAUTHIER (nee FISHER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, Diane, at Seven Oaks Hospital on October 20, 2014, with loved ones by her side. She leaves to mourn her children; Tracey (Albert), Vince, Noelle (Ray), Nikki (Joey); grandchildren Tyler, Stephanie, Andrew, Brianne, Brendan, Mykaela and Tessa; sisters Shirley, Barb (Jim); brother Roy and many nieces and nephews. Diane was born and raised in Winnipeg and worked for the City of Winnipeg until her retirement. She was an inspiration, being both a mother and father to her children. She loved children, and it brought her great joy to hold a baby in her arms. Diane was a gentle and kind lady to everyone. She loved her family endlessly, as they loved her. She used to love dancing, shopping, bowling and was always smiling, but Parkinson's Disease robbed her these pleasures. It didn't stop her from enjoying crossword puzzles, Facebook, Young and the Restless and chatting on the phone. We would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the compassion and care she received there. Private interment will be held, followed by a luncheon and celebration of her life for family and friends on Saturday, October 25 at 12:00 noon at the Canadian Legion, Branch 215, 3600 De Vries Ave. - Henderson Hwy. at the Perimeter. 204-586-8044

DIANE MARIE GAUTHIER (nee FISHER) Diane Marie Gauthier died Monday, October 20, 2014 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 69 years. As per Diane's wishes, there will be no formal service. You were a truly gentle soul...you never complained about your hardships, your smile and genuine happiness seeing people made people feel special. Your laugh brings back very special memories from my childhood and while you were here in Chicago, your love of music and dance kept your little feet tapping.. Aunt Diane, I will miss you. I'm so glad I was able to see you twice this summer and to talk to you just before you passed away. You were the kindest person I've ever known you never had a bad thing to say about anyone and never complained about your situation you were a very strong lady.
