ROBERT (BOB) PETERSON June 22, 1932 - October 17, 2014 On October 17, 2014, at Vista Park Lodge, Robert peacefully passed away with family at his side. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 61 years, Doreen, children Grant (Diane), Cheryl (Frank), Karen (John), grandchildren Lindsay (Chad), Christopher, Darcy (Kristy), Kyle (Carmin), Joshua (Jeremy), Drew, and great-grandchildren Jayda, Tanner, Benjamin, Felix, Emma, Luke and Lorelai. He is also survived by his sister Mary Lou, and brother Frank (Anne). Robert was predeceased by his parents Burton and Winnifred Peterson, sister Barbara, and brother Jim. He will be remembered as a real character that spoke his mind, loved to laugh, his generosity and devotion to his family. To us he was a remarkable man and we feel blessed to have had such a wonderful presence in our lives. The family would like to thank all the staff of the Vista Park Lodge who cared for him the last four years. Your compassion and patience was much appreciated. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A sharing of his life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A private family interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
