  • I still can't believe that you are gone... Working with you at Central was some of the best times I've known, Ron,you were the sweetest, kindest, most generous man I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with. You always came to work with a smile and no matter how hard the day was you always walked out with a smile...I will honestly miss you my friend...until we meet again, keep watch over us... Rest easy.. - Posted by: Wilma (Friend) on: Jul 22, 2015

  • Hi!! I grew with Ron in Altona, we went to school together. I have so many memories of Ron. When I heard he passed away I was very sad. It's been years since we've seen each other. Ron and I did alot of things together in our upbringing years. We had alot of fun, and he to loved joke around about alot of things when we were so much younger. We hung out together alot in those days, altona was small. We worked together years later. So many fond memories. I will miss Ron but will always have the memories.........my sincere condolences. I'm sorry I missed his memorial.....Lenora Giesbrecht(Calgary). - Posted by: lenora giesbrecht(Calgary) (friend ) on: Oct 27, 2014

  • Ronnie Wiebe was one of a kind, one of the very few people who I’ve met that I can honestly say that I will never forget and will mourn and miss for a very long time. The man didn’t have a malicious bone in his body, and would lend a hand to whoever needed it if he could. He loved his blues, his “cowboy” smokes, his football (rascal got me going on SportSelect!), his Lucky’s, and his BBQ. I’m not one for having roommates, but he was a blast to have around, and to work with at CD and tarring the berms in Altona. I’m never going to forget that Rascal…. Never!! Ronnie…. Please say “Hi!” to Rick Z once you get to where you’re going to next. Now that both of you are gone, I really see no reason to ever step foot in Elmwood again, other than for your memorial at the La Salle on Saturday if I can make it. If need be, I can memorialize you by myself in my own way. If they’ve got wifi up there, I found you an awesome Internet blues radio station at laradiofm(dot)ru. A blues station out of Russia, of all places! Hard to type when you can’t see the keyboard through the tears, Bud. Gonna miss you, Pal. Peace!! ‘Til we all meet again one day…. - Posted by: Tim Jaskow (Friend) on: Oct 24, 2014

  • My condolences to his family and friends.. I met Ronnie 7 years ago or so when I was still living in Winnipeg, he was my neighbour.. I absolutely fell in love with him. Such a sweet man and he was always smiling and laughing.. My daughter who was 7-8 years old at the time and him would sit in the back yard he would tell her stories and giggle.. We moved to BC a few years back and I try to come home once a year and Ronnie was always a person I had to see.. Friends often come and go but only a few has left a lasting impression and Ronnie was one of those friends!! When my husband went ahead a month earlier then I and kids did Ronnie often brought me breakfast and made sure I had dinner.. The joke was he was just trying to steal me so I wouldn't move away.. He will be missed..RIP Ronnie!! - Posted by: Melanie (friend) on: Oct 23, 2014
