BARRY JOSPEH SPAKOWSKI October 11, 1951 - October 20, 2014 On Monday, October 20, 2014, Barry Spakowski passed away at the age of 63. Barry will be greatly missed by family and friends. He leaves to mourn his son Jeff, daughters Jennifer (Darryl) and Jill (Rob), mother Verlie, brothers Wayne, Brian, sister Darlene (Noel), brother in law Dale as well as grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles. He was predeceased by his father Jospeh Spakowski and sister Brenda Hatherly. Barry grew up in Malonton, MB and attended the Malonton School and Gimli High School. He started his work career as an automotive painter for Gimli Ford Dealership before heading up north to be a sheet metal worker. Upon returning from the north he tried his hand as an auto salesman. He then went on to his present job at C.P.R. until his retirement. Barry enjoyed weekend trips from Winnipeg to the Malonton family farm. He hunted white tailed deer for many years before hanging his guns. He also took great pride in his vehicles and kept them spotless. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place in Malonton at St. Mary the Protectress Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 with Reverend Father Chuckry officiating. www.seasonsfunerals.ca
