FRANK BUSCHMAN On Sunday, November 2, 2014, surrounded by his family, Frank peacefully went to be with his Lord after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 82 years. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all. Frank was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Margaret. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Ramona (Greg), and John, his grandchildren: Troy, Celina and Breanna, his brothers, sisters and extended family in The Netherlands. Frank will be especially missed by his lady friend Susan. Frank was born in Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands on October 25, 1932. As a young Dutchman, Dad loved skating and had a passion for gardening and landscaping, which he carried on when he immigrated to Canada in 1954. Frank started his career in Canada as a lumberjack before continuing in the construction trade and starting a very successful utility company, Crown Industries Ltd. until his retirement. Frank had a zest for life which could be seen in the beautiful tulips and daffodils he grew and his love for entertaining and travel. Dad was a honest, dependable, loving, forgiving and selfless person who always had a story to tell. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the Palliative Care team, especially Junior and Nurse Ola for their excellent care of Frank. A funeral mass celebrating Frank's life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Gerard's Catholic Church, 45 Foster Street with viewing one hour prior. Reception will follow the mass. A private family burial will take place later in the day. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba. • On behalf of Gisele, Amie and myself our condolences to Ramona and John and all your families. Where do we start? When you were at Frank's, it was always 4:00 o'clock some place and so happy hour! Frank always treated us as his own family member and I felt like calling him dad sometimes as well. Great memories will carry on with me forever. Will miss him and his gift of wisdom, hard work and play hard attitude. Hope I find a golf ball someday with letters FB as this is how he would play hard. FB meant Fairway Ball and not Frank Buschman. RIP my friend, until we meet again for an eternal golf game with all your friends awaiting. - Posted by: Norbert Collette (friend) on: Nov 06, 2014

  • Moe's Dad was the most happiest and full of zest person I knew. His love for flowers and friends was larger then life it self. He always greated me with a warm smile and a big kiss. When I got flowers from his green house it would make me smile every time I passed by them. He will surely be missed by so many!!! I will plant some tulips this fall in his memory and they will forever be Frank Flowers. Our deepest sympathy for his entire family. - Posted by: Joyce and Joe (Friends) on: Nov 05, 2014
