Yvette leaves to cherish her memory her children, René (Heather), Luc (Sherri), Evelyne (Terry Vermeire), Adrien (Barb Andrews), Alfred (Florence Routhier), Simone (Raymond Syganiec), Marie, Jeanne, Monique (Guy Badiou) and Michelle (Ken McEwan); her grandchildren, Sylvie, Jean-Pierre, Marc, Chantal, Joey, Mélanie, Sophie, Scott, Amanda, Lori, Danielle, Jocelyne, Claudette, Rhéal, Denis, Jeannine, Crystale, Lee-Ann, Mathew, Sarina, Natacha, Joshua, Ashley, Adam, Nicolas, Phillippe, Marcelle, Simon, Méline, Cathrine, Rosalie, Jules, Eric, Megan, Samantha and Kaitlin. They settled on a farm 5 miles north east of Somerset, Manitoba and raised 11 children. Upon their retirement they moved into the town of Somerset where they lived for 20 years. When Marcel passed away in September 2011, Mom moved to the manor in the town of Notre Dame de Lourdes. She enjoyed living there and especially enjoyed returning to her roots. Mom worked very hard during her life and was known to excel at knitting, crocheting, sewing, bread making, and quilting. Many people will remember her for her mending and tailoring abilities. Mom's faith was of utmost importance to her and she was therefore very faithful to her catholic heritage. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Home Care, the Notre Dame Foyer and the Notre Dame Hospital for the support and excellent care they provided for her. A private viewing and prayers will be held for the family on Friday evening. The funeral services will be celebrated at the Notre Dame de la Nativity Catholic Church in Somerset Manitoba on Saturday, November 15. There will be a Eulogy and Video Tribute at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Father Armand Le Gal officiating. Interment will be in the Somerset Parish Cemetery.
