Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA FELICIA BUCCINI (nee LUPI) February 4, 1923 - January 15, 2015 Peacefully, after a short illness, on Thursday, January 15, 2015, Anna Buccini passed away at the age of 91 years at the Grace Hospital with her friend Maria at her bedside. Anna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Isa and son-in-law, Tito Di Paolo; her granddaughter Rita Di Paolo (Jeff). Also surviving her are her nephews, Domenico (Teresa) and Luigi (Ada) of Winnipeg; four sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews in Italy. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Dario Buccini; her father Pasquale Lupi and mother Incoronata Di Paolo; there brothers, eight sisters-in-law and eight brothers-in-law. Anna was born on February 4, 1923 in Villalago, LAquila, Italy. Anna came to Canada in November 1958 with her daughter Isa to join here husband Dario. Anna worked in a sewing factory for 14 years. She retired at the age of 50 to care for her two year old granddaughter. Together they enjoyed going shopping and going out for lunch. Anna was able to remain in her home until a few days ago with the assistance of home care and family. A special thank you to dear friends, Mario and Maria Caputi, for all their support. The family would also like to thank the home care team and the staff at the Grace Hospital 3 North. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Viewing and condolences will commence one hour prior to the Mass. Entombment in Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street, Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to a charity of their choice in Anna's memory. Anna was a woman who embraced life and the opportunities it provided her here in Winnipeg. She greeted everyone she met with a kind word and a warm smile.
