Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKLARA BENGEN August 22, 1928 - January 25, 2015 Peacefully at the Concordia Hospital Klara passed away with her family by her side. She will be deeply missed by her husband Claus children Brigitte Stannard and Klaus Fennig and grandchildren Derek (Tannis) and Kara and great-granddaughter Emma. She will also be remembered by Helmut, Manfred and Ludwig Bengen and their families in Ontario. She was predeceased by her daughter Heidi in 2011. Mom loved being a homemaker, cooking and baking her German cuisine for her husband and children. She loved gardening and sitting in the gazebo doing word search puzzles late into the evenings. She enjoyed spending the summer with her grandchildren at Netley Creek. Mom and dad enjoyed travelling often to Germany but her most favourite place was Hawaii. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. We are terribly saddened to hear of Klara (Mom)'s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of her, lots of late night coffee chats and many, many visits when Heidi was alive. We too will miss her, and hope the Bengen/Fennig family remembers all the wonderful times and they help you through the grief. We will all one day, meet again. Rest in peace Mom.
