ROBERT PARUNGAO June 9, 1974 February 2, 2015 Robert joined our creator peacefully, on Monday February 2, 2015 at the age of 40 years, with his beloved wife Phyllis and his mother Carmen Parungao by his side. He leaves to mourn his passing, his siblings, Bernard Parungao, Floren Mercado and Arnel Parungao in the Philippines. He was predeceased by his father Simplicio Parungao. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all relatives and friends for their love and support. A special thank you to CancerCare Manitoba and Riverview Palliative Unit for their care during his confinement. Viewing/Lamay will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 and Saturday, February 7, 2015 commencing at 6:00 p.m. from Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd,. Winnipeg, MB. Vigil Prayers will be held on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. from Mosaic's Inkster location. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Edward Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington St. Winnipeg, MB. Rev. Father Rainerio Sarce celebrant. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, MB. A reception will be held after the interment at the Mosaic Reception Centre, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Our deepest condolences to the family of Robert. I've known Robert on our college days. A funny loving and gentle person. I had the pleasure to know Robert who was the best cook I ever knew. He always welcomed people with a smile and kindness. I remember how he renovated all house in Selkirk...and he always was busy doing something. My deepest condolences to you Phyllis and to the other family members of Robert. I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Robert. When I met Phyllis and Robert I knew right away that they were good people and I just loved seeing them when I could. Robert seemed shy but always had a smile to give. Phyllis I am here for you and I wish for Robert a wonderful new journey without any pain or suffering. It was a pleasure to know you.
