Dear Alice: I am very sorry to hear about your Mother's recent death. I remember on many occasions, coming out to her/your home, along with our dear friends involved in the Women's Movement and afterwards. We always had such happy times with both your Mother and Father present, reliving some of the fond memories of having worked on social justice issues and the enduring friendships that were made. Know that you are in my thoughts. Bev Goodwin (Vancouver, B.C.) - Posted by: Beverley Goodwin (Friend of Alice's) on: Feb 17, 2015

Alice, Murray, Loretta, Sarah & Eric What a gift to have your mother and grandmother for so many years. Dorothy & Ron were an amazing and inspiring couple! We are so thankful we had the privilege of getting to know them. We pray that the many memories will give you peace and comfort at this time. June's mother Edith and Dorothy's husband Ronald were cousins. The last time we were all able to get together was family reunion almost 3 years ago. Our condolences to the family. - Posted by: June and Janice Clarke (Cousin) on: Feb 09, 2015

I am sooo sorry to hear about Dorothy's passing. She was such a nice lady. For her age she was right on the money. My daughter's birthday is March 11 and she always remembered that because it was 2 days before hers. I will try to remember that and think about Dorothy on March 13. I wish the family God's strength to help get through this sad time. Posted by Joyce Kirsch on Feb. 7 2015 - Posted by: joyce kirsch nee kehler ( was dorothys hairdresser) on: Feb 07, 2015
