DONA IRENE CRAIG October 9, 1930 - February 7, 2015 Peacefully, with her family by her side, Dona Irene Craig (nee Lemmon) passed gently into the early morning at St. Boniface General Hospital, at the age of 84 years. In keeping with mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. A longer obituary to follow in Saturday's Free Press. Arrangements entrusted to E. J. Coutu & Co. Funeral Directors.

  • I loved her a lot, and she loved me a lot from the moment she met me back before my mother and my stepfather married. She always believed in me in whatever I did or any of my life choices. She always gave me a warm welcome, and was very happy to see me. She always greeted me with a big hug, and warm smile. She was a very positive part of my life, she was very wise and very loving. She was a kind person, she had a great heart. She is the kind of person I would like to be, she is the kind of person I wish everyone was more like. Grandma was part of my family and now she is gone. I don't know where she is now or what happens after death, but I do know if she was alive she would want me and the rest of the family to live a long happy life like she did. I love you Grandma, thank you for loving me unconditionally, you taught me a lot, I miss you and I want more time with you.
