PEDRO ASCANO OLID, SR. January 31, 1932 - February 9, 2015 It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our dear father Pedro Olid, Sr. on February 9, 2015 at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife Maria Nena, his children Pedro Jr. - Elena, Ma Arne, Maria Jean-Keld (Peterson); Ben; Larry-Gemma; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Originally from the Philippines, he came to Winnipeg and has lived here for 25 years. Upon his arrival to Winnipeg, with his hardworking personality, he helped in raising his grandchildren and continued working until the age of 78. He was a devoted husband, a strict and loving father, a playful and caring grandfather and great-grandfather. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the staff at the Grace Hospital and Health Sciences Centre. Viewing/Lamay will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Reception will follow after the service.
