GREGORY BOHDAN CIUPAK Gregory Bohdan Ciupak passed away peacefully on February 12, 2015 at the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 81. Greg was born in Winnipeg on December 1, 1933 to Katherine (Krasnopura) and John Ciupak. He was predeceased by his brother Boris and sisters-in-law Julie and Mary. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 37 years, Loreen, his brothers Ted (Maxine) and Eugene (Jan), his children Theresa (Conrad), Constance (Roger), Patricia (Anthony) and Gregory Jr. (Thaylin); loving grandchildren Lauren (Jordan), Katrina, Jason, David, Michelle, Yvonne (Danial), Gregory III, and many nieces and nephews. Dad grew up in the North End with his father passing when he was an infant. In his late teens stepfather Walter Gubernachuk and brother Eugene came into his life. Dad enjoyed many lively get-togethers with friends and family, notably relatives on his mother's side; the Krasnopura, Malkowich, Nadokis and Sholdra families. Greg loved to socialize and made friends easily with his quick wit and generous spirit. He loved family time spent at Pine Falls, Hadashville, Lorette and travels throughout Canada, U.S.A. and abroad to Denmark and Australia. Greg retired from the Provincial Government Corporations Branch where he met many professional people forming several lasting friendships. Many thanks to the staff at Riverview who cared for him and brightened the days of his final years. His energetic voice and iron grip will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m (viewing at 1:00 p.m.), at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
