MARY CALSBECK We are deeply grieved that our dear wife, mother and friend, Mary Calsbeck (nee Strikiwsky), fell asleep in death on February 14, 2015. She will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 64 years, John, her daughters Sherri (Randy) Kabez and Gaylene (Randall) Demrey; together with her grandchildren, Tyler (Brenna) Kabez, Braden (Laurin) Kabez and Brenna Demrey. She is also survived by her brother Peter Strykiwsky. Mary was predeceased by her beloved mother Pauline, and brothers Billie and John Strike. She will also be missed by her extended family and friends. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 72 years, she had great faith in the promise of Psalms 37:29 that "The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it". The gardener in her planned to help make the earth a paradise again. A Memorial Service is planned on Saturday, March 7 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 937 Gateway Road, Winnipeg.

John Caswell and Family; To let you know how sad we are to hear of a dear friend's Passing. I (Stella)and Mary were pen pals during our teenage years. I lived in Erwood, Sask. and Mary lived in Hyas, Sask. I was introduced to Mary by her brothers Billie and Peter. We corresponded for many years. And then we lost track of one another till we met in Winnipeg quite recently. We wish to send our sincere sympathy to you, her family, and pray Jehovah's blessing on all of you. - Posted by: Stella Yablonski (Friend from teenage years (pen pals)) on: Mar 08, 2015

We all will miss Mary so much ...she was a "Class Act" a real sweetheart a wonderful example. 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. 5 For just as the sufferings for the Christ abound in us, so the comfort we receive through the Christ also abounds. - Posted by: Bryan Roxanne Yablonski Family (Spiritual Brother and Sister) on: Mar 06, 2015

We are heartbroken to hear of your wife and mother passing away. Mary was always such a pleasure to work with in the ministry and was certainly an excellent teacher. She always showed dignity and class - fine qualities to be imitated. John, we share your loss. Also, to Sherri and Gaylene, our sincere condolences. Thankfully, her rest will be short. Let's all work hard to be there to welcome her back....soon! Looking forward to more breakfast trips John...it's a must!! Our love to you all! - Posted by: Rob and Heather McLaughlin (Friends) on: Feb 27, 2015

Dear John, Sherri, Gaylene and families, Our hearts go out to you as you suffer the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. How we all long for the time when we will not be separated ever again from our loved ones. We look forward to the time when our loving God, Jehovah will call them out of the memorial tombs, healthy and well. In the meantime, may you all draw comfort from Jehovah's assurance found in Isaiah 41:10. Please be assured of our warm Christian love and care for all of you at this difficult, sad time and also be assured of our prayers in your behalf. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breaths away. Thank you Mary for those wonderful moments. They have all been cherished. Love, Brother Peter - Posted by: Peter Strykiwsky (Brother) on: Feb 21, 2015
