She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Edward Houston, and their children: Lori, Kelly, Rhonda (Lyle), Dion (Sherri), Patrick, Lana and Debbie (Dion), along with many grandchildren: Zach, Xavier, Audrina, Dylan, Kayla, Nathan, Krystina, Bryson, Eddie (Shelby), Trisha, Emily, Ashley (Kyla), Matthew, Molly, Sophie, and great-granddaughters Karly and Aubrey; her brother Ted, sisters Lynn, Maureen and Joanne; as well as Wilma, Scott, Jenna and Jordan who loved their dear nana, and many family and friends. She will be welcomed in heaven by her father and mother Marienus and Patricia, younger sister Lisa, and her grandsons: Kyle and Austin. Mary peacefully passed away at Pine Falls Hospital with her loved ones by her side. She will be dearly missed by family and friends as she begins her journey to heaven and watches over us. We would like to thank the Pine Falls Hospital staff and Dr. Ali for their care and attention. Service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Saturday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. We did not know that morning What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief, the shock severe To part with one we loved so dear. You bid no one a last farewell, No chance to say goodbye, You were gone Mom before we knew it, And God only knows why. We pray that when you left us, That you knew how much we cared, Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through, We will always love and cherish memories of you. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives Until we meet again. "Always Remembered" Love, your family Cropo Funeral Chapel, 204-586-8044

Nana, I will miss you so much...the laughter we shared, the talks we had when my mom passed and the enormous strength you had fighting your illness all these years and you did with a smile on your face and trying to comfort all of us. I know my Mom will be there to welcome you to heaven and that soon you two will be playing a game of blitz. I love you and will miss you so much. Rest easy now, your work on earth is done. - Posted by: Wilma Houston (Niece) on: Mar 11, 2015
