She will lovingly be remembered by her children: Remy Tan, Nelson Tan, Daisy Maranan, Arnold Maranan, Jennie Fernandez, Freddie Pineda Aurea Manuel, Marino Manuel, Eddie Fernandez, Glamour Fernandez, Zaldy Fernandez and Cathy Fernandez. Her grandchildren: Anthony, Desiree and Elaine Tan. Isza, Iris and Alexi Pineda. Krysler and Janice Fernandez. Edmund, Edona, and Chelsea Fernandez. Joyce and Marion Manuel. Zachary and Zander Fernandez. Her great-grandchildren: Mason Tan-Punzalan, MJ Fernandez, Ram Manuel and Ethan Liam Fernandez. Glorina was born on September 14, 1930 in her hometown Tayug, Panagasinan in the Philippines. She first immigrated to Canada on July 15, 1987, with the support of Remy Tan as a sponsor. She was joined with her husband Marcelo Fernandez and her two sons Eddie (Boyet) Fernandez and Zaldy Fernandez. Proceeded by Daisy Fernandez on July 10, 1988, Jennie Fernandez on February 16, 1990 and recently Aurea Manuel. Lamay (viewing) will be held from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with prayers starting at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015. Rite of Committal will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Special thanks are extended to the Seven Oaks Hospital staff for all their care and compassion. Nanay, will your legacy live on forever and ever.
