CECILIA DENISE DUBE (née PROULX) February 5, 1942 - April 3, 2015 In the afternoon of April 3, 2015, Cécilia was released from pain and suffering after a battle with cancer. Cécilia was predeceased by her father Adelme Proulx, mother Rose Proulx (Robidoux), brother Eugène Proulx, sisters Léonne Manaigre and Rita Jeanson. She leaves to mourn her husband Roger Dubé, son René (Marg) Dubé, daughter Nicole (Mark) Burtenshaw, brother Marcel Proulx, sisters Anne-Marie Philippot and Jacqueline Proulx, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Cécilia loved bowling and coaching the children Saturday mornings at Club La Verendrye. During Festival du Voyageur, she would volunteer in the kitchen at Le Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain, and enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles. She was loved by everyone, and they all called her Mom. Cécilia's great sense of humour and fun-loving nature will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard. We would like to thank the staff from WRHA at St. Boniface Hospital for their special care. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
