CIPRIANA GRANADOS September 14, 1926 - April 08, 2015 With our saddened hearts, we announce that our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wife, Cipriana Granados, has passed away with her family by her side on April 8, 2015. Cipriana will always be known as a very caring and kind person, who possessed a passion for cooking and sewing that she brought with her to Winnipeg when she immigrated to Canada in 1981. Since then she had made custom original garments for friends and family from scratch for multiple various occasions, and conjured up her signature menu of dishes that were a favourite by us all. She and her husband, Claudio Sr., were also known to be active members of the Winnipeg Filipino Seniors group, and as a couple loved to socialize and dance at any given opportunity. Their best memories were spent together enjoying each other's company. Cipriana's family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Grace Hospital, Seven Oaks Hospital, Family Doctor, Home Care, and Safeway Pharmacy for all their help and support. Viewing (Lamay) will commence at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at the request of the family on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 12:00 noon from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church , 748 Keewatin St., Rev. Father Mariano Batucan celebrant.
