  • How good a friend you were since elementary school memories! How much appreciated were the coffee sessions of late and how your character influenced me and I'm sure others to 'tow-the-line' follow your example of 'be good' and 'do right'. In much of life you 'stood alone', suffered alone and survived alone. We desperately miss you because we're not complete without your presence. Thank you for the man you were, the guy who survived a tumult of hardships, and the friend who we want to be to others. May the God we talked to be your ever-present companion as we celebrate your time among us and forever. P.S. For a guy who loves toys, you had few but were extraordinarily crafty and skilled and generous with what you had. Who on earth would ever gift a 230 Amp welder? Your understanding of and hands-on career as a mechanic was born out of genuine genius. Both gift and life-example live on! Oh, Mel, we miss you. Thank you. - Posted by: Ben HOEPPNER (Friend/Class-Mate) on: Apr 16, 2015
