CECILE LEGAULT (née DUFOUR) February 23, 1914 - April 16, 2015 It is with heavy hearts we say good bye to our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. On Thursday, April 16, 2015, Mrs. Cecile Legault of Elie, Manitoba passed away at the age of 101 years Mom is survived by her five sons: Lucien (Bobbie), Cyril (Pauline), Denis (Marlene), Fernand (Heather), and Wilfrid (Alice), three daughters, Yvette (Doug), Hilda (Ken), and Marie-anne (Don); 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her sister Gertrude Fraser, brother Oliva (Geralda) and sisters-in-law Cecile Brown and Irene Dufour. She was predeceased by her husband Emilien, her daughter Gisele, and daughter-in-law, Cheryl. Mom's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She had a gift of making everyone feel welcome. She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched. We the family would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Residence Despins and Foyer Valade for the love and care that was extended to our mom. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Elie, MB on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Prayers, eulogy and video starting at 1:00 p.m. with Father John Legitimas officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cecile Legault may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Manitoba or CancerCare Manitoba. I had known your mother for many years and am so sad for your loss. I became such a good friend of this kind, loving woman and I felt very honoured to be part of her life.
