I was so saddened to hear of Marcia's passing. She was a one of a kind spirit, that will truly be missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting her. Marcia could fill a room with her laughter, and she always had a way of making people feel at home in her presence. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at such loss. Marcia always spoke so much about her family, I know that this will be a hard hole to fill. - Posted by: Sherri Oleynick (work related) on: Jun 25, 2015

It hurts my heart to know I will never see you again, but I know you will be with me in spirit. You and I had a special bond, as you waited with me at the hospital, waiting for the birth of my grandson 7 years ago. Keep watch over my grandbabies my friend......til we meet again....say hi to Blair. - Posted by: Susie Eyolfson (good friend) on: Jun 09, 2015

Although I'd known Marsha from the time she and Blair wed, we didn't develop a close friendship until the last few years -throughout both Blair's and my own husband's illness and death. She was a warm, bright, strong and witty woman. Even when she'd lost Blair and become so ill herself, she was always fully engaged in the lives of those she loved. When I was dealing with hardship in my life, she listened with empathy. I always sought her advice. We shared a special history and I'll always be grateful for that. I miss her. - Posted by: Janet Brett (Friend) on: May 23, 2015

Marcia was our Giftcraft sales rep and we became friends and lunchmates whenever she was in town. Shannon and family our deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. She was an amazing girl with a life too short lived but piled lots into it while she was with us. Take care of each other. See you soon. - Posted by: Larry Doreen Krista and Kyle Pettinger (business owners/ Marcia was our sales rep) on: May 04, 2015

We met Marcia after her marriage to Blair and we quickly bonded. When she and Blair moved to Cape Breton just 2 doors away from my Mom, Marguerite, she quickly became an integral part of our lives. We will never forget your generosity, your wonderful philosophy of life, and your boundless sense of humor. How fortunate we are to have so many memories of dinners and gatherings at yours and Blair's home, Christmas parties, and Lake Ainslie getaways. Thank you Marcia for being another daughter to my Mom and Dad. We all loved you dearly, but theirs was a special bond. You are now reunited with Blair and both of you are free of all pain. We will miss you, but I know you are at peace. Love you always. - Posted by: Mike and Sharon Currie (cousin-in-law and close friend) on: Apr 22, 2015

As I write this, I realize once again; how short life is and can be. Had wanted to call last week and go and see Marcia. Although our friendship was brief and shorter than some, I truly enjoyed our conversations and giggles. The bright side now, is, she is with Blair and has no more pain, tests or medications. God Speed to her and all my best wishes to you Shannon, for a quick peace and fond memories. - Posted by: Lorri McInnes (Fellow sales rep) on: Apr 18, 2015
