I met Anita when I was 8, she was something of a wonder to all the kids at the beach that day as Noone had NEVER met a real life sister Lol. She still told the store about how I got ALL my friends gathered around her to "Show her off" lol We became friends fast and hung around alot. Me and my siblings and some friends were always hanging at the beach with her and asking her to tell us stories. When I was going to be baptized I asked Anita to be my godmother. She said YES. I loved being around Anita..and as I grew up and became an adult and had kids of my own, my kids loved being around her. Even though we did not make it out to Lac du Bonnet after and only saw each other maybe a few times a year we always made a point of getting in contact with each other when in each other's towns. I will personally remember Anita for not only all the good she did, but for all the good she did for me.πΌππππ - Posted by: connie troilo (God daughter/ friend) on: Apr 20, 2015

I met Anita a few years and immediately felt at one with her. We shared similar goals, values, etc. I admired her for the compassion she had for marginalized people and the small ways she could have others feeling good and worthy. I don't think she is resting in peace yet- she is up there telling God what should be done! Always in my memory, love Charlette - Posted by: Charlette (a friend) on: Apr 18, 2015
