MARIE-ANNA PROULX Born: August 15, 1936 - Passed On: April 20, 2015 With great sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Marie-Anna Proulx (nee Gagnon) at the Ste. Anne Hospital on April 20, 2015, at the age of 78. Mom was predeceased by her son Edward Proulx. Left to cherish her memories are: her husband of 62 years Aurele; four sons; two daughters, 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, Stella; grandchildren Bridgette and Robert Turner; great-grandchildren Justin and Nicholas; Robert and April Laurin; great-grandchildren, Apollo and Coral; Diane and Roland Gagnon; grandchildren, Renee Gagnon, Andre and Christine Gagnon, Jean-Pierre Gagnon, Angele and Maurice Ouellet, Guy Gagnon, great-grandchildren, Brooke, Jasmine, Domonique, Francois, Maxime, Katelynn, Desiree, Calvin, Zoe, Keyra, Miikah; Edgar Proulx; grandchildren, Edward Goertzen, Amanda Goertzen; great-grandchildren Kyla, Jade, Julie; Tiffany and Mike Olford; great-grandchildren, Delyka, Sadies, Kash; Kenneth and Kim Proulx; grandchildren, Kenneth and Jeanette, great-grandchildren, Seth and Xane; Kevin and Nicole Proulx, great-grandchildren, Naomi and Jordyn; Randy and Margo Proulx, great-grandchildren, Jack, Elexis and Oz; Roland and Stephanie Proulx, grandchildren Devon Proulx, Victoria Proulx, Hannah Proulx; Aurele JR and Eilianna Proulx. She also leaves to mourn one sister, Jeannine Gagnon, and five brothers: Leo Gagnon, Gerard Gagnon, Roland Gagnon, Florent Gagnon and Aime Gagnon. She was also predeceased by her parents, brother Arcel and sister Lorraine. Mother was given the gift of loving and caring for her family. Her spirit will live among our hearts forever. The memorial service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52 W., Steinbach, MB. An ash interment will follow at a later date. We extend special thanks and appreciation to all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Ste. Anne Hospital.
